What is Dozer Day®?
Dozer Day® is an annual event that seeks to educate people of all ages about building sustainable communities, industry career opportunities, and public safety.
Dozer Day® gives kids the ultimate “construction experience” by inviting close contact with heavy construction equipment, public safety vehicles, recycling trucks, and other fun, informational activities.
In addition to a weekend of fun, Dozer Day® is a fundraiser, with net proceeds given back to charities and organizations that support communities nationwide. For a full list of beneficiaries, please click here.
Where is Dozer Day® held?
The first Dozer Day® Nebraska will be located at Sarpy County Fairgrounds (100 Main St, Springfield, NE 68059).

When is Dozer Day®?
Dozer Day® Nebraska launches in 2023 and will take place on September 9 & 10. Gates open at 10:00 am and close at 4:00 pm.
The event will open one hour early BOTH Saturday and Sunday exclusively for our valued sponsors and their guests before gates open to the public at 10:00 am. If this privilege interests you, please visit our sponsors page to get involved.

How much do Dozer Day® tickets and parking cost?
Pre-sale tickets for Dozer Day® are $15 for all guests over 2 years old.
Ticket prices increase to $18 if purchased on the day of the event.
Everyone 2 years old and older needs a ticket for entry. Tickets are valid for one entry only.
Parking prices TBA.
What is the ideal age for Dozer Day®?
Dozer Day® has something for ALL ages!
Kids under 12 years old (size permitting) get to hop into heavy, construction equipment and operate the machines guided by in-cab, experienced equipment operators.
In addition to big rigs, you’ll find awesome activities, fun contests, lots of sponsor giveaways and, much more!
Do adults need tickets for entry?
Yes, everyone 2 years and older need a ticket for entry. All proceeds from the event benefit community and nonprofit organizations throughout the area. A full list of beneficiaries can be found here.
Should I print my e-tickets?
You certainly can! Alternatively, you may show the email that contains the QR code. Either option is easy for our ticket scanners and will ensure that your check-in process is quick. If you purchased a large sum of tickets, printed tickets are probably the fastest option for gaining access to Dozer Day®!

Can we get a grant for Dozer Day® tickets?
Children’s not-for-profit organizations may be eligible for free or reduced-price tickets.
Please email requests on non-profit letterhead along with IRS tax-exempt documentation to annette@assocoffice.net
Are Dozer Day® reservations refundable?
Tickets are NOT refundable or adjustable, but please be assured the donation benefits many great children’s charities.
Are food options available at Dozer Day®?
Yes! We have a wide range of food and beverage vendors on-site during Dozer Day®.
Are animals allowed at the event?
Only service animals are admitted for entry.

Where did Dozer Day® Start?
The first “Dozer Day®” was held in Wisconsin hosted by Halquist Stone and benefited local schools. In 2008 the Nutter Foundation acquired the rights to Dozer Day® and trademarked the event.
